Holidays are great, but some people just have the travel bug and want to be away for longer. For people considering a longer trip, it’s a really exciting prospect. At the same time, it requires a lot of planning, a lot of time and some funds as well. Here are some tips on how to plan:
- Analyse your money. Decide whether you want to save up, or work whilst you travel. Both are viable options depending on what you want to do abroad.
- Don’t leave booking until the last minute. Some plans won’t fall into place until quite late on, but still plan as much as you can. You don’t want to end up with no accommodation or transport.
- At the same time, go with the flow. Travel is about new cultures and new experiences. Let yourself enjoy it and be open to trying out things that you would never do at home.
