Adventure travel as a family isn’t always the easiest. There will be activities that are age restricted, instructors that might not be used to working with children and activities that may just be altogether too challenging for youngsters. However, there are plenty of options if you look in the right place. Here are some ideas:
- Stay in a family friendly resort. They will have facilities for children and can recommend child friendly activity centres, if they don’t have their own.
- Get your children some lessons before the holiday. For example, if you are going skiing, let your children learn the basics first.
- Read reviews from other travellers. Look out for reviews from other families and see what they have to say about the facilities. Read about their experiences and see how old their children are to help you gauge the level of child friendliness. If you want to ask anything else, contact the resort directly.
